Museum of Chocolate art was opened in Sevastopol. Museum pieces are  cakes, tiny figures made of chocolate and marzipan.

At Chocolate museum in Sevastopol you will get to know the history of chocolate, then learn process of chocolate production, observe executive chocolate pieces of art, and at last – chocolate tasting -the most pleasant part of chocolate excursion.

Master classes on chocolate art are provided for children. Children under 10 years all – entrance free. For adults – check for 20 grivnas.

Now Swallow’s Nest castle in Yalta is the well-known symbol of Southern coast of Crimea. The castle was built in 1911, on the top of 40 meters high Aurora cliff. So the best view on Swallow’s Nest castle from the seaside. Most of the visitors come here by boats, local ships. There are some interesting excursion trips by boat, that start mostly from Yalta. At the castle now is newly opened art gallery with the works of Ukrainian, Russian painters. The famous picture of Kuindzhi is performed in a black room.

In the first half of the last century, a palace designed by the English architect Edward Blore was built in Alupka (Yalta) for the governor-general of Nova Rossia count Vorontsov. The count’s serfs were erecting this miracle of architecture for 20 years. The north side of the castle has a definite british aspect, its west wing resembles a medieval fortress, while its frontage facing south looks as a kind of moslem temple. The palace wonderfully fits into the panorama of the mountains and the blue expanse of the sea. Museum of Simferopol - exposition of former European Hotel

According to legend, the town was named Simferopol owing to its location: in ancient Greek the word “simferopolis” means “collector town”, “town at cross-roads”. One of the most interesting events in cultural life of Simferopol will take place in May.

21st  of May the fans of museum culture will enjoy night at Simferopol’s Art museum. This event takes place every year at Simferopol’s Art museum. This year the night at museum is called «There is a light through the art».

Some talented students of Simferopol’s school-studio (Crimean Russian Drama theatre in the name of M.Gorkyi ) will perform a play. Besides, the thematic exursion is organized by museum stuff.
