This summer Crimean peninsula is rich for events. The most popular among young people who loves music festivals is music festival Kazantip in Popovka: live music, 10 dance floors, sandy beach, warm sea, cool bars. Dates of Kazantip 2011 – 30.07 preopening of the party, 06.08 opening party, 20.08 closing party. Location of Kazantip is small village Popovka. Popovka is 2 hours drive from airport Simferopol.

This year will mark the beginning of an annual celebration of great wines from around the world, including the many excellent wines from the Crimea.

The regional minister of economy, Tatyana Krocha, has announced that the festival will be held in mid-September. It’s a great opportunity to support the region’s ancient wine-making traditions, as well as providing one more wonderful reason to visit Feodosia. Many wines from Europe will be participating in the festival.

Mrs. Krocha has announced that Germany’s «Queen of Wine» will be in attendance. The «Queen of Wine» is an honoray title bestowed upon a lucky woman from amongst the most historic of Germany’s wine-making families.

With the support of the whole of the Ukraine, the festivities promise to be an epic beginning to a lasting tradition.

Annual Jazz Festival «Jazz Koktebel-2010″ will take place this year in Koktebel (East Coast of Crimean Peninsula) from 9 till 12 of September.

Chairlady of Koktebel’s Kommittee Lilia Mlinarich reported  that two stages will be functioning . The first one is  Voloshinskaya – in the garden of House-museum of poet Maximilian Voloshin. The second stage is called Nujazz, the Gala  performance finishes here the Festival on 12 of September at 13:00.

The Crimean Jazz Festival «Jazz Koktebel-2010″  will visit popular Russian and Ukranian bands such as «Aukzion», «Daha Braha», Oleg Skripka with Jazz-kabare «Zabavi», kabare-band from Belarus «Silver wedding», American drummer Al Foster, Karl Frierston «DePhazz» and other.

There will be going to show the best arthouse movies, that are concerned with jazz. New experiment the guests of Crimean festival enjoy this year – two old silent films  are accomponied with live music, explained Mlinarich.
