This year Yalta will enjoy significant event Yalra Rally 2011. Be aware of the rally rules in Yalta Rally 2011.

Special stages (SS) are the competitive sections of a stage rally event where the goal is to cover a stretch of closed road in the shortest time. On a special stage cars are set off individually at set intervals to reduce the chances of being impeded by other competitors.

One hour before the scheduled start of the first crew (starting number 1) the Road Police car passes through the SS with the blue shimmering light and voice signal, informing rally safety services and the spectators about prohibition to appear on the SS. After the Road Police car there could pass Safety Officers cars (SS steward, timekeeper, ASN safety delegate, Clerk Of the Course) with red pass sticker in right up of the car with logo of the held rally.

15 minutes before the start of the first crew “zero car” starts with a side number “000″. “Zero” cars are safety cars of the rally. Their main task is final verification of SS readiness for the start of the sports cars. On the “zero” cars roofs there is a yellow shimmering light. “Zero” cars number is limited to five, but could be less due to the technical reasons. The passing “zero” car imposes prohibition of passage of any cars, regardless status and passes shown.

This rule failure can result in SS cancelation!!!

3 minutes before the sportsmen start the car with a side number “0″ passes along the SS with a voice signal and yellow shimmering light.

Several first cars start with 2 minutes interval. Then all participants pass the SS with 1 minute interval.

Cars passing interruption can be for several reasons (a participant car break on the SS, start delay due to the technical defects, etc.) Yet it does not mean the end of the competition and removal of the shutoff mode!!!

The removal of the shutoff mode and permission to pass along the route is triggered by the Deputy Safety Officer car with the checked flag onboard and green shimmering light. Only after his passing, there could be the permission to pass along the route. A final decision on spectators free to go along the SS will only be decided by the rally safety service.

At the rally SS please be most attentive. Do not turn your back towards the SS, follow the sports cars passing. Do not leave the children without supervision!

Always follow the instructions of the marshals and safety services! Choose the safest places for rally watching.

With all safety measures being obeyed the rally becomes a bright, spectacle event, demonstrating possibilities of up-to-date developments and professional skills of the crews.
